A Thousand Shades of Beige

jane_posterizedI had a chance to see Jane Golden today, director of Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program. Jane famously talks about the early days of mural making, when all she had to work with was a thousand shades of beige. Now the paint is so rich it looks good enough to eat. Mural Arts celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Passing Through will put up 20 satellite murals in honor of each year Mural Arts has made the city beautiful. Thanks, Jane.
